What is it about the beginning of the week that gets us stressed and a little wistful. A last remembrance of the weekend — the pleasure of relaxing with family, catching up with friends, or just enjoying some alone time — before we head out to the start our long work week. (Like the saying goes, “There needs to be another day between Sunday and Monday!)
So, what about, starting Monday off in a kinder, gentler way. A few minutes spent quietly acknowledging the beauty of the morning rather than begrudging the end of another weekend just might help me have a happier day.
Time for a little Monday meditation.
