Blog Post #202
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Today is Remembrance Day.
Today we observe two minutes of silence to honour and remember those who have sacrificed their lives — as we do every year at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.
Every year, I wear a poppy and pause for a moment of reflection. I do not do this to glorify war, or to condone combat — I observe the silence every year to remember those that sacrificed their lives so that I can live in freedom — to remember that we need to work for peace that this should never happen again.
Today, I will “Honour, Thank, Remember.”
